A few years ago after reaching the tender age of , I began to lose my near sight. Now I require reading glasses for nearly text smaller than a dime. The Ultega cycle computer is easy to read, even while speeding too fast down the hills near my home with wind in my face and tears in my eyes. The cycle computer has all the essential measurements (plus a thermometer for those who need to know) and is easy to install. Recommended.

This computer does perform what it says; average speed, total distance, current speed, temperature, etc. HOWEVER: a BIG minus is that once you stop on the bike, the computer goes to sleep. Moving again does not wake it up (like it does for other computers). You have to THINK after each stop to wake it up again, because even if it is asleep it is not calculating the mileage. Once you are biking again and remember to 'wake' it, several miles have gone by and you do not have an accurate count of your total distance. I do not recommend this computer.
It could be that there is a functionality that I am not aware of where you could set it to 'stay awake'. However, I have not found it.
