I was leary about buying a wireless unit after reading several reviews about them. But this Bell computer was on sale at Target for 17.99 so I took a chance. Installed it in about 15 minutes, using the same magnetic
pick-up from my former cheap Schwinn computer. Programming was real easy. Ive gone about 50 miles on my mountain bike with it so far, and it has worked flawlessly. Reacts quickly to speed changes. The light blue back lighting is just bright enough to read your speed digits at night, but not much else unless you have great eyes. The computer has a very slight wiggle to it after snapping it in its mounting bracket, but it has never fallen off going over bumps. Love the temperature read out!. I have a helmet, tires, and a pump made by Bell and they are all top notch. Kudos to the Bell company. This computer has been a great buy so far!

read complaints in reviews about poor directions leading to mounting and set-up difficulties. I found nothing in the directions to complain about. A little patience goes a long way. If you can set the clock on your vcr, find and use the menu on your tv, or figure out how to set a digital watch then you can figure this out. Set up was about 30 minutes including programming the unit.
Would have liked the two buttons on the unit to be marked S ; M but I did this with an indelible marker on the screen directly above the buttons. This doesn't interfere with the viewing area at all. The left button is the set button.
added bonus were the extra zip ties included with the unit in case you make an error in mounting the unit.
the true test will come in six months to see how well this holds up to extended use bouncing around on my road bike. but at this point the price and the functions offered can't be beat.
