Customer Reviews
I like this bike computer--except for the fact I can't figure out how to reset the trip meter. The instruction manual tells you to press and hold the right and left button for three seconds. But these are the same instructions to reset the odometer--which requires you to reprogram all the information in your computer every time. Has anyone figured out how to reset the trip meter?
Actually, I just called Bell. The instructions in the manual are incorrect. To reset the trip meter you press and hold down ONLY the left button.
I bought my computer about six months ago and I love it. It is simple and accurate. Set up was easy and I only had a slight problem aligning the magnet with the sensor. After getting that right the computer has worked just fine for 700 miles. Initially you have to enter the number for your particular tire size. You can either enter the code or measure your tire circumference and enter that number for better accuracy. The instructions are not perfectly clear. To clear your trip miles, you press and hold the left button while the trip meter is displayed. This will also erase trip time and average speed. Calories burned and Fat calories burned have to be reset individually. To reset the entire unit you press and hold both buttons. You then have to re-enter the tire size code and you can also enter your odometer miles if you wish to. It is a great tool for pacing yourself and giving one a real clue how well they are doing over a given course from day to day. I am quite pleased with mine and would recommend it to anyone.
